——-
alles spiegel unserer selbst?
klang, schang, ist mir total egal. “stop all the seasons, sun and the rain, until you stop believing”… niemals…
No matter how we wish different we are not a product of ourselves, we are the product of our antecedents. Our art is our product, the mirror is but one way only
We can call ourselves any name we wish, label ourselves with medals and descriptions, disassociate from any past but…there will always have been one to call us ‘daughter’ or ‘son’ and we still bear their imprint
NO
WE create our past and our now and our future since we are free to do so.
otherwise we are patterns.
sure, we’ll always consider the past and all the other times, but then…. there is a cheeky stone in the way…. and yes… FREE again… and only like this we can change history and give something better.
We create our imaginary pasts and presents and futures.. but our art doesn’t visit us, we visit it…it doesn’t come to us in the street and greet us with names and the memories of the scars we carry… do we create imaginary times and personas in order to escape unpalatable pasts and antecedents?
Sometimes, I think, the pronoun “we” is not a one-size-fits-all candidate.
haha, yes, absolutely right. you say this so nicely. thank you!
To think we are our own creation is the ultimate arrogance
Arrogance is nothing but the pejorative of self-esteem.
Self esteem unalloyed is the preserve of dictators and those without a sensitivity to others.
No man is an island….John Dunne
“self esteem, unalloyed” to me has the meanig of purity. It is free from eagerness about the belongings of other individuals.
– Alexis Carrel
Since the purity of ones own self esteem is so self contained any reply is superfluous
ach puzzle, du bist einmalig!
danke für deinen kommentar,

mimosasttropez, i didn’t mean that we are our own creation (not yet, luckily), but that our creations=art and visions are of our own or at least should be in my opinion.
